A spacer that enables the use of the MikroTik L11UG-5HaxD routerboard with the RF elements TPA-RBC aluminum mounting box equipped with TwistPort. The spacer is made of plastic using 3D printing and is designed not to obstruct the cooling of the routerboard.
Installation
- Place the spacer on the MikroTik L11UG-5HaxD routerboard
- Connect the MMCX connectors
- Plug in the Ethernet cable (use a connector without a boot)
- Insert the routerboard with the heatsink facing upwards into the designated spot in the mounting box
- Secure with the included M3x16 mm screws
- Close the TPA-RBC mounting box
The Ethernet port of the routerboard does not align exactly with the cable entry of the mounting box. Therefore, installation, cable connection, and assembly require some manual dexterity. For the easiest installation, we recommend preparing the assembly in the workshop by mounting the routerboard in the box and connecting a cable of suitable length so that, once installed, the cable reaches the cabinet. This avoids the complexity of assembling the unit on the mast.
