MaxLink POES-8-7P-NOPS is highly versatile, highly compactible desktop unmanageable PoE switch. The switch has 8x 10/100Mbps ports whereas on seven ports you can use PoE Out function and thus connect/power any active element with the PoE support. The last port marked as "UP LINK" is used for possible whole switch powering (PoE In with overvoltage protection 1.25 A).
Mode B - using 24V power adapter - suitable for powering devices expecting power on the pins 4, 5 (+), 7, 8 (-), for example Ubiquity NanoBeam, NSM5, PowerBeam, MikroTik SXT, LHG etc.
Mode A - using 48V power adapter - suitable for powering devices expecting power on the pins 1, 2, (+), 7, 8 (-), for example IP cameras, VoIP gateways, UAP-AC-PRO, UAP-AC-LR, UAP-AC-Lite etc.
Powering and overvoltage protection
When using powering mode A the maximum overvoltage protection on each PoE port is 650 mA. When using powering mode B the maximum overvoltage protection on each PoE port is 1 000 mA. The total current of all ports must not exceed 2.5 A. It is possible to use the power adapter in the range from 18 to 56 V DC for the both connecting type.
